Breakroom and Pantry Restocking for Busy Offices

Loop buys the coffee, tea, chilled drinks and shelf snacks your team goes through, plus cups and napkins, puts it all away on a schedule that suits the office, and leaves the breakroom tidy.

Why offices hand the kitchen over

A stocked kitchen is one of the perks people notice most, and one of the most tedious to keep up. Somebody has to spot that the creamer is gone, place the order, haul the cases in and break down the boxes. Loop takes that whole cycle away from the office manager: we buy what the team uses and put it away in the pantry on a schedule you set. It also ends the awkward reimbursement loop, where one person fronts the money every few weeks and waits for it to come back.

Restroom tissue, towels and hand soap are a separate Loop service, janitorial supplies, and the two can run side by side.

Offices across Loop’s service area

Loop’s service area is built around offices. On the Peninsula that includes Palo Alto and South San Francisco, where the pantry question is the same as anywhere: how far people must go for a coffee or a cold drink, and how much of the workday that trip takes.

Loop also serves offices in Las Vegas. In a suburban office park the nearest café can be a drive away, so a pantry that stays stocked saves a car trip for every coffee; in a downtown tower the nearest cup can be an elevator ride and a city block off. Either way, a full kitchen lets people take a short break without leaving the building.

What goes in the cart

  • Coffee, decaf, tea and hot cocoa, with sugar, sweetener packets and creamers
  • Sparkling and still water, juices and sodas to chill
  • Snacks for the shelf and the drawer: trail mix, protein bars, pretzels, popcorn and crackers
  • Cups, lids, sleeves, paper plates, bowls, cutlery and napkins
  • Refrigerated items such as yogurt or milk, when restocks come often enough to keep them fresh

One-off requests fit in as well. Extra coffee for an all-hands week or drinks for a team lunch go onto the next restock.

Preferences and the monthly spend

Each pantry starts with a walk through the kitchen and a handful of questions. What runs out first? What never gets touched? Does anyone need gluten-free, dairy-free, halal, kosher or nut-free choices? The answers become a written order of items and preferences that every restock follows.

Purchases stay within a monthly budget of your choosing. Want to try a new snack or drop a drink nobody picks? Say so, and the next restock reflects it. Seasonal shifts are just as easy, from iced drinks in summer to more hot tea in the cooler months.

Offices it suits

  • Corporate offices and headquarters floors
  • Coworking spaces and shared suites, where a stocked kitchen is part of what members pay for
  • Medical and dental offices with staff break rooms
  • Retail shops and showrooms with back-room breakrooms
  • Professional offices such as law, accounting and real estate practices

What they share is a team that would rather spend its hours on work than on grocery lists, and a manager who would rather not be the one keeping count.

Restock stops and your cleaning

If Loop also cleans your office, pantry restocking can ride along with that service, so the people who clean the breakroom also keep it supplied. Restocks can happen on a daytime stop, when the fridge can be checked and staff can ask for something in person, or alongside a scheduled cleaning.

Every stop includes a quick reset of the kitchen: counters and tables wiped, the coffee area cleared of spills and empty sleeves, the sink area tidied, the microwave wiped out and expired food pulled from the fridge. Floors, a full sink scrub and trash removal belong to a nightly office cleaning and janitorial service, should you add one.

Pantry pricing factors

Pantry service is quoted per office. The figure moves with:

  • How many people use the kitchen
  • How fast items go between restocks
  • The grade of coffee, drinks and snacks you choose
  • How often we restock, and whether stops share a night with any cleaning we do for you
  • Your monthly purchase budget

A few useful answers

Common questions.

Can you buy halal, kosher or nut-free snacks?

Yes. The written order records those needs, along with gluten-free, dairy-free and other preferences, and each restock buys to it.

What if we want to spend more one month?

Tell us the new figure before the next restock. Purchases follow whatever monthly amount you set, up or down.

Is any cleaning included with a restock?

A light one. We wipe counters and tables, reset the coffee area, tidy the sink, wipe out the microwave and pull expired food from the fridge.

Can you add extras for an all-hands or team lunch?

Yes. Extra coffee, drinks or snacks for an event can go onto the next restock, inside the monthly budget or on top of it.
