A sales office with a display floor

Every showroom runs two businesses under one roof. Out front is the gallery: room settings, vignettes and display pieces arranged to sell. Behind it is a working sales office, with design desks, quote stations, a sample library, a conference table and a back office that handles orders. Buyers judge the first half and spend most of their visit sitting in the second, so both need to look sharp.

The half behind the gallery is the office work Loop does every day, so the whole store fits one plan. One crew covers the display floor and the workspace behind it on the same visit, under one checklist, whether the store sells cabinetry and tile, sofas and case goods, light fixtures or cars. We clean showrooms in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Sacramento and across the rest of our California and Nevada service area. Car showrooms add finance offices and a service lane, and our car dealership cleaning plan picks those up alongside the display floor.

Display floors that hold their finish

The floor is often the largest thing a buyer sees, and in many showrooms it is polished concrete. Crews dust-mop it nightly to lift the grit that dulls a polished surface, then scrub it on a set schedule so the sheen stays even from the entry to the back wall. Glossy tile and vinyl are mopped and burnished, and marble or terrazzo entries get stone-safe cleaning and periodic polishing.

Flooring showrooms are a special case, with a dozen surfaces side by side: hardwood, luxury vinyl, porcelain, stone and carpet vignettes. Each sample floor is cleaned with a method that suits it, so the oak plank never gets the treatment meant for tile. Worn resilient finish can be stripped and refinished through our janitorial services after closing, with the new coat left to harden before the first appointment, and rugs and carpeted lounges get hot-water extraction through commercial carpet cleaning when the path from the entry to the sample wall starts to look worn.

Glass, mirrors and fingerprints on fixtures

Showrooms invite touching, and every touch leaves a mark. Crews clear fingerprints from cabinet fronts, appliance doors, countertops, faucet handles and drawer pulls, using finish-appropriate cloths on chrome, brushed nickel, brass and matte black so nothing streaks. Glass shower enclosures and vanity mirrors in bath displays are polished until they read clear under the spotlights.

Entry doors, push bars, glass partitions and the inside of the storefront glass are cleaned at every visit. In a lighting showroom, lamps, shades and pendants within reach are dusted gently, with taller fixtures on a periodic rotation. For the outside of the storefront, add commercial window cleaning to the plan.

Sample libraries and design desks

The sample wall is where decisions get made. Tile boards, stone slabs, fabric books, door samples and finish chips are dusted where they hang or sit, and the layout tables designers use to build a selection are wiped down for the next client. Samples, open orders and drawings stay exactly where your team left them.

Design desks, consultation tables, guest chairs, monitors and phones are cleaned and every wastebasket emptied, while the back office, break room and conference room are dusted and vacuumed. Our crews are background-checked, Loop Office Cleaning carries insurance and bonding, and supervisors run quality inspections, so a showroom full of expensive display pieces is in careful hands after hours.

Customer lounges, coffee bars and restrooms

Choosing a kitchen or a sectional can take an afternoon, so the places buyers rest matter. Sofas and armchairs are vacuumed and wiped, toys in the play corner go back in their bins, and the brewer, counter and floor at the coffee bar are cleaned. Restrooms for customers and staff are cleaned and disinfected top to bottom on each visit, and we restock paper towels, soap and liners from our own supplies or from your stockroom.

Cleaned before the doors open

Visits run once the showroom closes or before sunrise, timed to finish ahead of your first appointment. Crews start in the back office and at the design desks and finish in the gallery, so no cart rolls across the display floor after it has been cleaned. Busy seasons change the plan: ahead of spring remodel traffic, a holiday furniture sale or a weekend design event, we add a visit to bring the gallery up to show condition, then come back afterward to clear the traffic it leaves behind.

On a packed Saturday or during a trade open house, day porter services keep glass, restrooms and the coffee bar in shape while the floor is full.

Pricing your showroom plan

Your price comes from what the showroom holds: the size of the gallery and the offices behind it, how many nights or mornings a week the crew comes in, how many floor surfaces need scrubbing or burnishing and how often, how much glass and mirror there is to polish, the restrooms and lounge, and any porter hours or event visits on the calendar. We walk the showroom with you, then send a written quote built from that visit.

A few useful answers

Common questions.

Can you clean our showroom early in the morning before we open?

Yes. Visits can begin once you lock up for the night or in the hours before dawn, and crews finish the display floor last so it is spotless when your first appointment arrives.

Our flooring gallery has hardwood, stone and carpet side by side. How is each one cleaned?

Each sample floor gets the method that suits it, from neutral cleaner on stone to damp microfiber on hardwood and vacuuming on carpet, so every vignette keeps its true look.

Will the crew move our displays or sample boards?

Displays, sample boards and drawings stay where your team placed them. Crews clean around them, lift only light pieces to dust beneath, and set each one back exactly.

Do you clean the sample library and design desks too?

Yes, on every visit. If a selection is laid out for a client who is coming back, leave it on the table and tell us: the crew wipes the rest of the surface and does not touch those boards and swatches.

Is a car showroom handled differently from a furniture or design showroom?

A car showroom gets the same display-floor and glass care, and our dealership plan adds the sales desks, finance offices and service waiting area on the same visit.
